Pricing Overview (Short Version)
The total price for an illustration consists of two main components:
-
Illustration Price = Work Fee + Usage Rights Fee
- Work Fee: Based on my hourly rate (€105 gross/hour)
- Usage Rights Fee: Based on how the illustration will be used (only applies to commercial commissions)
-
The Usage Rights Fee
This is calculated using a standardized tool from the Illustratoren Organisation e.V. (German Illustrators’ Organization). It adjusts the total price based on the specific usage rights the client selects.
- The more usage rights requested, the higher the total price.
- You can upgrade your usage rights at any time.
- I offer package discounts for multiple illustrations.
- On request, I can provide multiple estimates for different usage rights scenarios.
